Does anyone recall the Joe Weider karate course?

Apparently, Joe Weider, the guru of all bodybuilding, also knew Kung Fu. In the days of cheesy ads
in wrestling magazines and comic books- count dante, the karate LP record, become a shaolin monk in ten easy lessons, etc. Joe Weider got into the mix with a karate course. Lift weights, defend yourself, and get the girl, all with Joe Weider. I wonder if anyone knows what was in it?
My guess is a civilian-ized version of "kill or be killed."

No. Old Joey was sued by a postal inspector. You can read about it online, usps judicial.
Apparently Weider's "expert" witness had a 5th dan in Okinawan karate, which would have been high ranked in those days, before everyone became a grandmaster.
The expert had written chapter 11, exposing "secrets."
The case had two issues:
1. fraud due to false advertising on the merit.
The postal inspector did not think that you could become an invincible master in a few weeks.
2, fraud due to the bait and switch. It was common to respond to a "teaser" book for 1.98 or whatever, only to be enticed to buy a 50 dollar course.
Before you tube, the UFC, and ebooks, people tended to think that there is a "secret" art out there
that if only I could do this martial art, I can handle an army all by myself. Those sort of ads do
still appear in martial arta mags, but people can check out scams easily on google.
