What do you need to know before taking your first Taekwondo white belt to yellow tag exam for WTF BTCB?
And how do you get the best marks?
Hey, im currently on my red belt, and have been in Taekwondo for 3 years. First of all, when i first had my yellow tag exam i was scared ’shitless’ but dont worry about it. First of all, u must be flexible and stretched out ‘BEFORE’ u take the exam, so tight muscles wont bother u. Keep ur body tight and straight, centered in the middle at all times without leaning back or forwards. U must shout out during the appropriate time, when ur turning around etc….. Keep it calm, dont look at ur feet, look straight ahead at the wall or scenery and concentrate on ur techniques. U must know all the basic kicks, blocks, punches, and ur coach might ask about taekwondo history. Know how to tie ur belt, and keep ur uniform clean and straight without loose ends etc… But, the most important thing that will help u succeed is ur self tolerance. U have to control ur body, ur body doesnt control u, keep ur eyes out of the clock and other ppl or else u will ruin ur concentration. be positive dont be negative on urself. before u take the exam u must relax and stay calm. Remember these tips, it may seem hard at first but all will be put in the right place at the appropriate time when u have mastered all the basic stuff. I really hope i helped, u can contact me at any time. Stay calm, and u will do fine. Listen to what the teacher/tutor/coach tells u to do. U will not proceed forward in Taekwondo if u dont put ur best effort into it.
