Does Obama need white blue collar workers to support him to win Ohio and Pennsylvania?
He lost both these states by double digit numbers despite leading Clinton by double digit numbers in the polls.
Are these voters just saying they vote for him in polls and then voting against him in the booth?
If white blue collar workers vote for McCain he could lose both states and that would give McCain 51 electoral votes.
Obama’s up by between 7% and 15% in Pennylvania……a solid – safe – lead. He has 10 TIMES more money to spend on ads.
McCain MUST WIN Pennsylvania (and every other state in play) to have a shot. Obama’s up or neck and neck in everyone of those other states….including Florida and Ohio…..but amazingly, he has a solid lead in Virginia and leads in North Carolina.
You can pray for some kind of Bradley effect, but it’s unlikely. The population is OVERPOLLED on Presidential races and there is one consistency across every poll taken from the most Republican friendly to the most Democratic friendly…….Obama’s leading, and there really hasn’t been any trending positive for McCain during the whole election (for a week after the convention there was a blip….but the trend is clear).
